Ms. Mikk began her journey as a salon assistant in 2001.  Although a great accomplishment, she never really felt fulfilled in her career choice and realized that her true passion resided in the collaboration of beauty and teaching.  After receiving her cosmetology license in 2007 and her teaching license in 2019, Ms. Mikk chose to dedicate her life and career to three things: 1) Self-love and awareness; 2) Healthy habits; and 3) Personal development.  These elements are put into place within her brand where the mission is to influence women and young girls to believe that their situations do not define who they are. 

As a solution-based entrepreneur and a healthy hair specialists, Ms. Mikk strives to educate her clients on the fundamentals of taking care of their crowns, helping women improve their work ethic, and creating stability in their professional lives. Her educational background, entrepreneurial knowledge, and teaching expertise allow her to strategically interpret, analyze, and execute the goals of an individual in order to promote uniqueness and self-confidence amongst her students and patrons.
